t400, well that is strange, again have you tried putting 12v to pin one of the heater directly.
All alternatively set the timer and see if when it is on that the heater is getting a 12v signal to pin 1.
how do i apply the 12v to pin one?
Im not much of an electrician - but i'll give it ago with some instructions
I used a scanguage to see the battery at it was on about 12.2volts average with the ignition off... thats enough isnt it? :

Put wire from the 12v jump start connector to the white/green wire on the Webasto unit.
Any 12v would be ok. If you look at begining of this post you will see the jump start point.
Hope this helps

Reet, applied 12v to pin one and the unit seemed to start ( little whirring noise)
It ran for about 2-3 minutes and then shut down
Is that the norm?

t400-- did you maintain the +12v continuously?

sorry if this has been mentioned earlier but to all having trouble getting their heater to work; are you remembering that the outside temp needs to be +5C or less AND plenty of fuel in the tank AND a good condition battery are all necessary for the unit to work.

I applied the 12v for about 5 seconds......
fuel - full
battery 12.2v with ignition off
outside temp 7 degrees

t400, leave the 12v applied for much longer, mine kicks up make a bit of noise for a minute or so, then kicks in the heater and starts to burn fuel.
If yours is working it should do the same, if it stops with the 12v applied you have a problem.

The tremperature and fuel won't facter when aplying 12v to pin 1 (i think it does if using oem set up as fenj66 said) but if you are testing it straight on to pin 1/white green wire on the webasto with 12v it will run constant untill you take it off,
Obviously you will need some fuel but the main factor is the battery.....i remember Sanj having loads of hassle when doing his but when i did mine (diy style)after Sanj had helped me with the wiring etc
it worked straight away and will work in any temp or whatever fuel but you have to remember to turn it off or it will keep running unlike the oem set up.
Basicly if you put 12v to the green/white wire on the webasto it should run untill you take it off unless the battrey is low.

Hi all, just installed my remote rf channel switcher box. Box powered up and programmed ok, took pos off jump start terminal and Neg off the neg jump start etc, as it's a switch I presume it's non polar which seems to be case as I have powered it fine. Only problem is when I activate a relay via switch, I get no power out from the relay??? Tried both relays with meter on volts dc auto range and nothing??? See's the 12 volts into the remote box and nothing on outlets of relays when engaged via remote switch??? The led's light up to say relay has engaged and I can hear them clicking in but no voltage out??? I don't have led installed at mo, just the power straight out to pin 1 of webasto, I've tried disconnecting all power outs and trying it just on terminal blocks but nothing??? Shall I try reversing polarity of input power terminals??? I'm stuck here???

BL02WAS, I hope i'm not telling you how to suck eggs, but i assume you have linked the COMMON on the relay from the 12v supply, so that when it switches it will provide the feed?
The dashes line in the diagram
http://xdrivers.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.p ... t=15#p5955 from supply to relay.

Mcc, hi, right, I presumed that providing power to the unit gave the relays their power!!! Are you saying to put a link from my power in across to the common on the relay connectors??? If so shall try this in the morning and should hopefully solve this!!! Thanks!!! Let me know
