It has a fair bit to do with the lump behing the wheel aswell .........but i do agree aswell about the tyres.

My E70 was fine in the snow in rural Perthshire this year, brand new tyres on 19x9J rims. Seriously considering 18x8Js and a set of winters this year. My E53s were on 8in non-sport wheels and never got stuck in the snow once.

To come back on topic, the running boards are only available on the SE. I prefer them, and could not justify the the 'M' cost upgrade for what is really just body coloured trim.

Ref the Cayenne, that was my other option (the 3.0lt D version). Based on same deposit, Porsche were a £110 a month more expensive on like for like terms.

Also thought it was too much of a 'shiny' car if you know what I mean.

Still loving the car, just need to find some winter tyres and rims for it

For me the combination of the SE with running boards and the aero kit all colour coded (arches, running boards, etc) did it for me, I think it looks better than the M Sport but I am slightly bias.....

Thanks for all the well wishes, its in the dealer storage at the min, will actualy be at the dealers in just over a week.
