Re: Scanner 1.4.0 Settings
I know this is an ancient thread, but it is still useful, and seems to be a good place to put things like settings.
For those of you who have been using the 1.4.0 for a while, how long does it take to read all of the modules?
I've just run the scanner over one of ours and although there are three pages of modules listed a lot are not coming up as being found even though I know the car has the modules installed. As an example the 'Cruise Control' comes back as "not found" but the car has it.
Is there a setting I need to change, or is it just I need the engine running or something else?
Richard

Not used one...
But think you definitely need the ignition in the ON position (Prior to starting) but engine not running.
Carsoft, INPA & NCSExpert wont see all unless the above is done.
Best to have car on a decent charger / PSU when doing anything over a few mins of playing.

If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....
Please note...
Anything I say is only from my personal experience and knowledge..
I don't assume to know everything, and know there is a lot I don't know..
But then I could be talking bollox.. O:-)

Re: Scanner 1.4.0 Settings
Cheers.
I had the ignition on, and yes the car connected to a charger too.....been there, done that, felt an idiot!.....perhaps it just needs a couple of tries.
Ta for the suggestions.
