Battery Compartment Contents

Post by DorsetBlueVinNo » Wed May 21, 2014 5:58 pm

Hello All,
Probably get a quicker answer from you than taking it to pieces first!
Which modules should I expect to find in the compartment next to the battery under the compressor dome if I have a 3.0d Sport with nav, pdc and upgraded stereo with CD changer.  Just trying to narrow down what might have been affected by small amount of water ingress in the tray which mechanic found evidence of last time the beast was in dry-dock as I'm trying to fix a nav issue. (I do have an oem disc in the mk4 drive which I know works ok.)
Thanks in advance,
DBVN

I think it's the BM54 Audio amp, TV module if fitted, trailer module if fitted.  Nav unit is inside the Mk4 computer and the GPS aerial is in the upper bootlid spoiler.  Bluetooth module should be in left cubby along with the Mk4 and CD changer.

Thanks, Richard, that makes sense-helps me narrow down which link in the chain is causing the issue.
Grateful to you.

Thanks, also-that would explain the PDC issue :) but the nav issue is less easy to trace -onwards with the search!
Cheers,
