with an orbital machine you really wont damage paint my friend. You could have it set on 9 with meg's coarsest polish and you would be fine. Lowest setting on machine is generally used to rub polish around panel you are working around to get it worked in to every where. Don't be shy it wont bite dual action polishers wont build up the heat to damage paint etc!! plus the clutch wont allow it.

It was 2 days all together, I was fortunate with the weather so i made as much use of the dry conditions as possible, It was hard work but quite satisfying once i was finished.

No probs. Looks good what you have done but don't be afraid of it. Its fine to get speed up. Will post some links to a guy I find excellent for hints and tips later when I get chance. You will see then its perfectly safe with a DA polisher
