I'm about to buy an E70 40d in der Faterland. ) I found a large indy dealer in Munich with about 100 late-model BMWs that just came off lease. I'd like to ping a good Germany BMW forum to ask if that dealer is reputable. Dialed-back odometers are reportedly a problem in Germany. I saw the service booklet but that could possibly be faked too. Better safe than sorry.
I'm a member of 7-forum.com but their focus is purely 7 Series cars and so far nobody has answered my question.

I don't know of any dedicated X series forums, but I have a couple of others that might be able to help.
