can I fit these

Post by Diz » Tue May 06, 2014 2:42 pm

Just after some advice please , I have a set of 19in csl replica alloys they are staggered fitment which I bought for my e90
2x 8.5in wide offset 38
2x9.5in wide offset 35
Will they fit my 2005 e53 3.0d or would they need spacers and if so which spacers and where from ?
Cheers

The E90 is a lot lighter vehicle.

Standard E53 19" set are 9" and 10".  ET are 48 & 45 respectively.

Not only will the tyres not be of the right size, but there is a good chance you could overload the hubs and cause them to shatter on a pothole or bad bit of road.

Given yours are replicas and not genuine, I would be very cautious.

It doesn't sound like a good idea to me anyway.
