Front Discs and Pads...Any views on these?

Need to replace the front pads as the angry light is now on........anybody any views on these?

Same situation for me.
A bit of a google suggested that these are a bit poo.

In the end- i got a set of Brembo Pads and discs for £215 off ebay

If you are only changing the pads and sensor, then Pagid or Textar on Eurocarparts are the OEM.  There's a code at present too:  HOT30 for brakes.

Does anybody know if theres any "fast road" pads available for the E70 X5.?
Its not that im a "fast driver". Its just i do a bit of towing and am finding the brakes could do with a slight improvement...Ta...

I have not tried EBC pads yet but some mates who do drifting have and they love them. They also have good writeup in yank car mags.  My E70 has brand new BMW pads (what a black mess they make of the wheels after one day on the autobahn) so I'll wear them down a bit then try EBC Yellow Stuff pads (yes that is their name).

EBC is British so God save the queen and all, non?
