BavSound (Bavarian Sound Werks) Speaker upgrade

Hey there - has anyone done this for their E53? I got the stage one upgrade, but having problems with their 'plug and play' speaker :(

I done the bsw dash mids only, and was a simple job of plug and play.
Mods: H Steering, Towbar, Wide Arches, Inforad K2, HIDS, Heated Seats, PS2 Media Center, x555 Sub Box (Focal), Rear Fake Tins, RV Cam, Screen Protect, Front Tints, 168 20's, Re-Map, Black Roundels, De-badge, BSW Dash Mids, Tweeter & Xover, Rear Screens, Intravee

No, this one was easy enough for me solo baby.

thanks for the reply mate ... the dash ones are what I've been trying to do (the nice easy part ... and then let someone else break the trim clips)... simples - well i thought!

You don't recall the part number do you - mine are bsw.mr65 ... the holes aren't lining up and there's no sound :(

What do you think of the system jeegnesh?

I don't recall model number. But if it's stage one I would think mine would be the same. Remember paying close to £100 for them. And there was a little wiggling to seat the drivers back in place but it did fit right in. I would call them up I spoke to them several times before purchase, very helpful but you need to ring in US hours.

So I done this when I got the car and disconnected speakers and found the dash ones made the sound worse hence changed those, kept the door driver but installed a crossover and alpine tweeters I had lying around, I felt it made a huge improvement in quality. The BSW stuff is very good I doubt you be displeased once it's all in, always did want to hear what a full stage one upgrade was like.

does your car have DSP?
