Adding in Big screen

Hi guys,
Potential X5 noob here... So hi

I have seen a great X5 2010 so the new CIC system... but... it has a small screen
So I'm guessing this one didn't take the Nav option?
It has Bluetooth phone prep and aux connections so I'm wondering if that means its with or without the media pack?

Ok so long story short heh... I am weighing up what would be necessary to add in the big screen as im not scared of a little DIY

Is it just a case of replacing the screen and upgrading software or would i have to replace more hardware? It apparently has a professional tuner head unit.

The CIC appears to a standard unit which you need FSC codes to enable different functions.  The screen appears from Realoem to be a simple change of screen and trim.

After that you will need to somehow enable the nav and or TV functions to make use of the full screens.  That's where the FSC codes come in.  Whether a Dealer will provide you with an 'Initial' activation code you need to ask.  Update codes are no problem, it's the initial one you need.

I didn't know about the Initial codes...I thought it was just a case of adding... Right time to research again lol..
