Click on Search above and enter "pdc" - there are two pages of previous posts about parking distance sensor issues. That should help you.

ok, so that indicates that they are working. Have you cleaned them? Sometimes a bit of sh1T can cause them to beep.
I've had problems in the past when they are dirty.
Does it happen every time? Or only when in reverse?

From what I know, the PDC system isn't very technical. By that I mean you have the sensors, wiring and a control unit. Slight problem is its like Christmas tree lights - if one sensor, or wiring to one of the sensors is bad the whole system stops working. The sensors are easy to check, the wiring not so much.

So if your sensors are all clicking it sounds like they are all working. Next common culprit is the control unit. Even if that's buggered you can get one on ebay for £50-60, so not the end of the world.

The unit is situated before the battery, to the left, as your looking at the battery from the tailgate.

Take a look and see if there is anything obvious.

its not correct o say if one sensor is bad the whole system stops working. I have had fails on rear and front still works. I think it would perhaps be more accurate to say either end of the car (which may be individual systems?) will stop working if one of the sensors stops working.

True. Module will allow you to disconnect front OR rear sensors and still let the others work. In boot, next to RCM module.
