Post by shadrack » Tue Apr 01, 2014 7:49 pm

so ive listed my old range rover wheels, middle of the night they sell at the buy it now price, i wake to an email saying im from germany have no paypal account but 37 positive feed backs, they want to send the money via bank transfer, i cancell the transaction and report him to ebay, to get another email from him saying hes genuine and is pissed that ive reported him to ebay, i put in the add no overseas postage so he says he get dpd to collect, anyway i look in my paypal account and theres a £250 payment pending from him?? (they are cracked 22s) so am i now scamming him out of £250 or is this still some sort of scam where he does a chargeback, in the meantime ive a genuien uk buyer offer ::) ::)

If you have stated NO OVERSEAS bidders then you are covered in not following through under the terms of contract within EBay.
He was in breach for not abiding by your T&Cs as stated within the Auction.
Explain this and return / reject monies.

I recently had one do this and was a nightmare sorting delivery...
Really not worth the effort.

Might have been hasty in reporting prior to a mail to him, but that is just my opinion..
That could cause issues if this gets to a complaint scenario..
However that said he should have contacted you first...

(or am i being naive again???)
If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....
Please note...
Anything I say is only from my personal experience and knowledge..
I don't assume to know everything, and know there is a lot I don't know..
But then I could be talking bollox.. O:-)
