standard 19" sport alloys

Post by redz » Fri Mar 28, 2014 9:51 pm

Hi all.

What are these worth? two nearly new fronts, rears have inner wear but ok (just passed MOT)

trying to decide if its worth selling or keeping for a winter set.

19 inch not best for winter as the tyre profile is too low (or at least not ideal) if your're in snow mud etc
Cant comment on availability and performance of any specific 19inch tyre in winter spec

17 inch is best for winter

i was thinking more of a winter set to avoid ruining the new wheels! lol

they have been fine driving/performance wise in the last two years.

on the flip side of i can get a good return on them then i would sell.

a set that you 'don't mind getting dirty' isn't called a 'winter set' - its called a 'spare set'  :)
