Out of curiosity when did you place your order.

I placed mine yesterday and have seen various delivery dates from 3-4 months upwards.

Congrats!! They are great cars, you are going to be very happy with your choice I think

I've had a few niggles but considering its a first release of a new model, very happy with the reliability. 32.5 MPG to date, mostly 20 min journeys. Not bad

Could the longer delivery times be an indicator of a rise in popularity???

Eaglesrest - what niggles have you had? The only issue I've had is a stone chip to the windscreen. Would you believe the replacement cost quoted by autoglass (too bad for a repair) is £752! I may have to trouble my insurance, where there's a £75 XS and "no affect" on NCD. They say "no affect" but in reality ANY kind of claim makes it harder to shop around at renewal, when your existing insurer leaves your full NCD as promised, but hikes your premium anyway.  :'(

Good luck for Friday.  TBH, any cars I've ordered from BMW have always arrived on time or slightly ahead of schedule.  I would be so frustrated having to wait the extra few weeks.  Anyway, going by the positive remarks about the F15, you will soon forget the extra wait.  Enjoy

The top part of the drivers comfort seat didn't work so couldn't be adjusted. Fixed now.
PDC used when first starting the vehicle and reversing, goes amber then red on graphic, but no beeps. takes about 20 seconds before any audio so I could easily reverse into something when expecting it to beep. To be fixed.
Passengers have complained of wind noise at speed, from the top of the door.
Drivers heated seat setting 3 bars isn't very hot, more lukewarm. Setting 2 bars is hotter.
Drivers door handle not entirely flush. Think the metal lock cap isn't seated correctly.
Traffic Jam Assistant is rubbish! but that's a design flaw.

What would I change - I wouldnt have got the experience x-line internal and external packages, although nice, I think the UK dynamic pack would look better and have saved me lots of money (comfort seats, side steps, anthracite head lining) , Im not sure I like the stainless steel bits, - realise I prefer black to bright things! and I am sure the black dakota leather would have been fine rather than the slightly flimsy Mocha nappa leather.

love the LED headlights, HUD and car in general, much quieter and quicker, even though I am running in gently
