Any brake cleaner will do the job.

I use cans of pagid brake cleaner from euro car parts, but halfords/car accessory shops should all stock them in one form or another. All will do what it says on the tin.

Nat.

Does it work well?
I wont say is it worth the money as you cna pick up a can for about £3, but is it worth doing?

My local indy serviced the car last week and the brakes seemed 'better' _ i went back and asked him what he'd done and specific brake work wasn't listed on the bill - he said he'd sprayed each corner when he took the wheel off to check the pads so i was thinking of doing it every 6 months when I swap the winter/summer wheels/tyres.

I've got a can of Brembo brake disc cleaner. Only use it on new discs tbh. A good few hard braking sessions is a much more enjoyable way to clean up the discs.
