Another Newbie X5 Owner

Post by Nick73 » Fri Mar 21, 2014 4:43 pm

Hi all, just thought I'd say hello.

Picked up my E53 55 plate X5 this morning.  3.0d SE with what seems like a lot of extras (TV/Sun Roof thing/ Heated Seats and Steering wheel/20 inch wheels / Bluetooth...it goes on :)  )

Not my first 4x4 but the most refined I've owned. Ive been through a 2.5 Pajero (very agricultural) 2.5TD Discovery 2 and a 3.2 Shogun.  All good, but all very obviously big rattly diesel engines.  I know everyone mentions the fuel consumption, but compared to the 3.2 shogun its a little bit better.  Im a bit surprised by  how small the boot is, but I can live with that... It means the dogs have to go in the back of the wifes car instead  :))

Anyway Ill be posting in the E53 forum so just thought Id say Hi!
