Are E53 and E70 wheels interchangeable?

I have a spare set of 17"wheels which I used for all weather tyres on the e53.  Before I sell them, they don't by any chance fit on the E70 do they?

I don't believe so.  For two reasons, firstly the rear hubs on E53 are smaller than the E70 so would need bored out and secondly I believe the smallest wheels cleared for the E70 is 18" but happy to be told different.

E53 and E71 can be interchanged and all you need is spigot rings, but as Don says the E70 needs machining work.
