Cars in for some upgrades :)

Wheels are being refurbed and painted gun metal grey.

Bumpers, arches, grilles and bump strips are all going body coloured.

looks good but if that were me I'd have had the tyres removed from the rims and stripped properly before painting. One photo shows the weights still attached have they just painted round them?

The beads on the tyres were broken and pushed down so the rims are fully painted.
And the weights were left on but that was my choice, we didn't have time to strip them off and fully remove the tyres.
I'm happy with the job. I only did the insides so they weren't lighter than the outside. It'll be covered in brake dust in 5 mins anyway lol.

And all back together  Image

Wheel arches all decreased and jet washed, calipers painted and wheels back on.

Got black badges to go on the wheels, just got to paint the plastic frames.

  I'm happy with it.

I meant just the silver part of the running board lol, just in matt black ie plastidip.  You will be sorted then!! not keen on the red calipers if honest, cheapens the look a bit for me and tinting the front windows, unless drug lord is your look :)

only joking there :) but nice work everywhere else.

I did think people wouldn't like the calipers but I couldn't help it, it's the chav in me lol.

I'm thinking of paintin the plastic on the runners in black and maybe paint the silver bits the same colour as the wheels.
I will tint the front windows, I don't like it when only 1/2 a cars done. And I don't think they're dark enough to be a drug dealers car lol.

Looks great! The gunmetal wheels work better with a black car than black wheels do, imho.

I actually like the calipers too, because the car is all dark, that bit of red gives a subtle hunt of colour.

Well done!

A friend painted it.
We took it to his work on a Saturday morning, I helped to strip, prep and refit it all but left him to do the paint.
Then we left it to dry over night and refitted it on the Sunday morning.
I did the calipers to add a splash of colour.

Hi definitely looking better now the arches and the front and rear bumper bits painted. The colour of the wheels gets a thumbs up from me
