Premature Service Indicator Reset

Post by Raward » Wed Mar 12, 2014 5:18 pm

Afternoon!
My local Indie BMW specialist in Chipping Sodbury was recently changing the breather on my E53.
We noticed I had one green light left before my next service and because I just had her remapped we decided to proceed with an oil service.
She's running beautifully at the moment but I'm unable to reset the indicator. I've been getting the following " SIA: 2012 1 and SIA: 703 d". Is this because it's too early to reset? Therefore do I have to wait for things to turn red?
Thanks
R

Yep tried the reset processes but faced with the codes above.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
I have the scanner 1.4.0 - is it useful for resetting?

Raj
What do you make of this?
I'm unable to reset the oil service indicator using scanner!
Anyone else had this problem?
Cheers for any help.
