Saw mention of our site in the above mag this month.. In context of a member writing into the magazine to ask further opinion re whether there is need to carry out multiple ATF fluid changes to deal with what old oil remains in torque convertor.
I also see next month there is a feature on an E53 Dinan Supercharged 4.6is. No idea whose car it is or whether it's a stage 3 supercharged car or not..........I suspect it's a stateside vehicle as I cant recall anyone in UK having one & if they have then I don't recall them posting here.

They'd have got a quicker answer if they'd asked the question here, but hey ho....... )

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
Re: xdrivers.co.uk mentioned in BMW CAR Magazine
The author of the letter/email stated they asked here and were advised here that more than one change was wise so as to further swap out/dilute the remaining old ATF that would have been in the torque convertor prior to the 1st ATF change.
In any case the mag simply referred the query to the indy they consult on such matters and they said one change was adequate.
Not knocking the member that contacted the mag as they were simply getting further opinion & gave a plug for this site...I think the person was called Anthony and they have a 4.6is but no mention of member name.
I also read the 10 minute buyers guide on the E83 X3 - was surprised to not see mention of suspension changes which iirc were around 2005

Re: xdrivers.co.uk mentioned in BMW CAR Magazine
Nice.
I was in talks with getting mine featured but never came to anything as the editor I had agreed with left lol.
Have always thought about supercharging mine but never found anyone offering a kit. Did ask a few companies but no responses lol.

If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....

Re: xdrivers.co.uk mentioned in BMW CAR Magazine
It was I
I originally contacted BMW Car as I knew they had done a feature a while back and I was asking if they could confirm the issue so I could check back in my storage to find the relevant magazine. It was not originally meant for the letters page but it I was not unhappy for it to end up that way.
I had read on here about the multiple visits, hence the reference to Xdrivers.co.uk so it is not a case of 'not' asking on here, just finding out which issue it was in, and 'then' making any decisions about having the work done in the future
