Post by kamb » Sun Mar 09, 2014 7:12 pm

Guys

had issues with x5 smoking so decided to blank the vacuum hose from EGR stopped the smoke however still get a cloud on white/blue smoke on first start up

guessing there maybe a little leak on seals

someone suggested Wynns Stop Smoke

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... 55221#tab3

what you guys thoughts?

also was told to try shell v diesel as it has additives to clean injectors

await your response

A cold diesel engine will smoke on first start of the day.  The only ones that don't are the DPF equipped versions of the E70/71.

Pass, depends upon which market they are in.  Possibly not for UK spec.
