Ok, its i've had the X6 a couple of weeks and 1200 miles now....and i'm loving it.

Standout features for me are:

1. Active steering is excellent and a vast improvement over my E70's heavy steering.
2. Comfort seats are exactly what it says on the tin...All day luxurious.
3. 40D engine is a beauty, but not quit as lively as my old remapped X535D and 635D - so i'll remap when the warranty expires.
4. The 8 speed box very smooth, and with good ratios.
5. High speed handling is awesome - better than my X5 and almost as good as my 635D.

Overall i'd describe the X640D as cross between my X535D and 635D, incorporating the best bits of both.
