Id rather jump into a warm defrosted motor than scrape it and get into a freezing one. Who's to say the next winter won't be 3 months of minus 10 degrees and snow blizzards and your have having to scrape the big x5s windows when it could have all been melted lol

Expecting -16C overnight tonight and worse tomorrow night.  Aux heater not even an option here in Canada when I bought mine in 2010!  I just don't understand that!

Peter that polar vortex is playing havoc all across Canada and the US , over here were getting storms and lots and lots of rain, but no snow and very little frost -1 / -2 on a bad night , keep warm .      Colin..

I forgot to say that the guy also put a green led in the grill beside washer jet , it comes on and of with remote , its just a visual on/off , its something i picked up from this forum so a big thank you .. Colin..
