The only problem I had was in a new cayenne when somebody spat at it

That could be because
A) I was bumped up on kerb
B) It was a Porsche
C) it was a 4x4

He pissed off when I told him if he got a proper job he could probably afford one too, lazy twat. I think this helped him bond with me!!!

Only had one issue in over 7 years...................Some bloke on a bike wearing a face mask shouting a green message I can't recall - perhaps he sounded unclear because he had the mask on as he disappeard under the front wheels[/quote]

Just corrected that for you AW8

Hmm........that would have stopped him repeating his little outburst  :))

Nah, I just got really pissed off by all the green anti-4x4 bull  :shit: being spouted at that time by a few folks in my former workplace and decided to counter it with the unpleasant (for them) truth!  :))

(I am also an engineer so it was easy to do).

Had loads of abuse over the years as I have driven /owned a 4x4 for longer than I care to remember.  >:(  Now I tend to park as far as possible away from the nasty brigade or at least between similar car models if possible!    Plus am happy to send the abuse straight back in the direction from which it comes...... :)

Luckily the 4.8 is quite a commanding presence on the raod, especially a blingy-type Le Mans blue one, and the wake of smoke when you boot it from a standing start is enough to choke lesser cars and their envious occupants! lol

didnt top gear once do this i seem to remember them going to somewhere that 4x4s were often vandelised and parking an m5 and a e63 or similar there and the green 4x4 haters not bating an eyelid despite the cars been alot more heavy poluters than a 4x4, i dont think some realise how green some of the new breed of 4x4 are....
