Hi there.....i bought a 04 plate 3.0d last year and it had rear dvd screens fitted by previous owner/owners.
My question is....is it possible to have the sound come through the car speakers rather than wireless headphones? If so, is

Re: rear dvd screens sound
Yes - I've done it on mine.
You can tap into the AV switch behind the rear centre console or by the wiring loom for the connections into the boot. Like this one, then you need to reconnect existing wiring through this to tap into the cars speakers and not the headphones.

Thanks Sanj.....i will look into it. Which is the easiest way? And would there be any difference in sound by doing it one way or the other?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: rear dvd screens sound
Into the existing switch in the centre console is free but mono. The other is plug and play but monies and stereo. I couldn't careless about mono or stereo. Indian blood is very tight when it comes to spending money!

Haha sanj......well it looks like the mono solution for me too. It's only for when the kids want to watch something, and that rarely. I don't know any kids aged under 12 that know the difference between mono and stereo lol.
Thanks for the advice mate.
