2004 X5

Post by spooner » Tue Jan 21, 2014 5:16 pm

So after weeks of looking round on the internet I have finally found myself a X5. Pick it up in a couple of weeks when I get the log book back for my current car as I am taking my private plate off.
Its a 2004 '04 Sport Auto in sterling Grey, full black nappa leather but not heated :(, sat nav, TV ect, aluminum running boards eletric everything, auto light, auto dim rear view mirror. Full service history loads of old MOT's and reciepts for work done along with a new turbo 6 months ago @100,000 miles (now on 107,000). Also has a tracker fitted. Here is a pic from the advert. Will get some more up once I have picked it up.

:hi:

Brings back memories. Mine started off exactly like that one. Heated seats can be retro-fitted. All the wiring is already there.

Great colour - the best I believe.

Thanks, was went to look at a black one but it had no service history with it so stayed away from that one. Found this one so thought would have a look at this one and decided to have it.

So what colour is it now?  I thought it had been sorted ages ago?

Arse! Still the same colour!

'Brings back memories' as in a long time back.

This one is mint, thankfully. My third child.

So picked it up tuesday and I love it. So smooth compared to my old 03 Mini Cooper S. Had a couple of little probs with it, had a couple of bulbs go on it, one being the passenger side front side light (what a expensive bulb to get) amd the washer fluid thought it would be a good idea to dump its 7.8 litres of screen was into the engine bay through a leak some where but not to sure, droped down to the bottom of the level sensor. But apart from that its all going well.  :)

For Jig's car (username Jeegnesh) we sourced some OEM second hand heated seats. Then just a case of swapping them over and adding the centre console buttons to make em work. Think even the fuse is already there. Total cost after selling his original seats was £45. Console switch was also £45. Total was £90. :yeah:
