BMW X5 Driver seat. Problem with the leather. Sportseat.

Post by hunvaakren » Fri Jan 03, 2014 12:25 am

Hello guys, i have a problem with the leather on the driver side. The " Hook "  for the leather is ripped.

Look at the pictures.

And the question is: How do i get off ( Remove ) this trim on the side? So i can look at the leather and try to place it on the right place again.

Sorry for bad English, but im from Norway

If the E70 setup is anything like the E53 then you need to get the seat out and then you'll get to the screws underneath. Just remember not to start the car with the connector unplugged (on the E53's the airbag light comes on and can only be switched off via dealers/scanner).

Just a guess mind as I don't own an E70.
