Drivers seat bolster issue

Post by Barney » Fri Jan 10, 2014 7:27 pm

Bit of a problem with the leather on the outer drivers side seat base bolster.

Clearly the bolster sinks into the plastic base when compressed but when it rises back once my fat arse is off it I can see a small area of seat foam at the side ?
it appears the leather isn't long/deep enough and I end up having to tuck in the edge back into the plastic base.

Not what I expected from BMW, anyone else had this issue and would it be covered under warranty as it's clearly a manufacturing fault.

Yep, just like that, I did a search but couldn't find it. Mines beige leather so not so obvious but still poor imo.
I'm assuming it needs re-trimming or new bolster leather fitting? Not wear and tear and more than one that this has happend to, thanks for the ammo, BMW here I come  >:(
