memory seat not working

My wife has a 2002 x5 sport with electric memory sports seats,The drivers seat does now not move to my seat possition set at no 1.also the elec slide switch only works with a load of moving it around until the seat eventually moves.has anyone else had the same problem,looks like i need a new switch assy.

check the switch as these some times become loose
make sure it is still pluged in

as for the memory seat try to rest your positon
when you have got your seat and mirrors where you want it hod down the M button for 2 secs then press and hold the no.1 button

this can also be set so when you unlock the car with your key or remote it will go to your setting

you will need a good indy to set this up
