For anyone seeking a heated steering wheel for their x5 - seen a few on ebay this morning. One seller doing them at a very reasonable £175. Search worldwide for e53 lenkrad! Get em while they're hot lol

If you're dithering about the value of these I'd say that of all the options I got on my 2010 E70 this is the one I found of much more value than I expected. Use it every time I get in the car between November and March (maybe more).

Thats good to know! Out of all my extras heated heats and pan roof are my favourites.....but I'm sure i'll enjoy warming my hands on the new wheel when it arrives.

Yes but you need a slip ring and relay

Is there a thread for retro fitting these ? Can you fit facelift heated steering wheel to a pre facelift ?

New wheel can be fitted to the old but you need to check you have the wiring there in the first place being a pre-facelift and then you'll also need to fork out for the airbag, as they're different.

I'd consider retro fitting one if I had heated seats - just seems daft fitting a heated wheel when chairs are cold - I cant justify fitting heated seats and wheel unfortunately
