300m wheels on an e53???

Post by Johnny-p » Thu Nov 21, 2013 10:02 pm

I spotted a very nice looking E53 on 300m 20's

I thought these were for the E70??

What's involved to get them to fit..

Forgive me if it's a numpty question,as with most things I know what I like but haven't a clue of what's involved :-[

Could be off an X6 as that has the same wheels available.  You just need spigot rings to centre the wheels up correctly on the rear only I think.

Answer above is quite correct. Have set of 20" on my wife's E53 with 315/35 x 20 on rear 275/40 x 20 on front, car looks great I think. The wheels are from X6 and just need spigot rings fitted on rear as stated previously. Hope this helps.

E70 and E71 rims will fit the E53 no probe. As stated you will need spigot rings to centre them.

If fitting E70 rims you will need spigot rings all round as centre bore for E70 is 74.0, and if fitting E71 then just need them for the front not rear ;)

Maybe I'm getting my wheel names wrong...

The wheels I was referring to are twin 5 spoke versions, saw them on an M5 at the weekend-nice  >:D
