Yeah, I'm getting the impression that more is more when it comes to options at re-sale. I may have found another car on the approved used list.
Just need to wait till I get home, see what spectacular offer is available on the one in Aberdeen and discuss cash with the nice people in Bolton!

Peter T - No pano roof on X6, only a standard roof.  Too much curve.

One more option to consider is the active cruise control.  Not a common option but for long journeys a real bonus.  It will hold the selected speed, but should a vehicle pull out in front of you, the cruise control will reduce speed to stay a set distance behind the vehicle and then resume selected cruise speed once the vehicle in front has moved out of the way.

I had this on my Honda CRV and am surprised how much I miss it.

I like em! Of course pretty much all the cars are black or grey. I've narrowed it down to burgundy, black or white. Mainly because I've had so many black or grey cars that I would like a colour.

I do also have an MGF in the garage though...

Nope, it's in the garage cos it's a little less, umm.. waterproof than the Q7 or the wifes A4 cabriolet.

To be honest I bought it as a bit of fun a couple of years ago but it's a bloody good laugh. Full tilt everywhere and it actually feels fast unlike the sort of cars I generally buy. It handles very well and is involving to drive.

Of course it's not what you'd call well built and it had a head gasket from a previous owner (for £250, so less than one tyre for the X6) but it cost a fair bit less than my watch and has needed nearly nothing in my ownership so I can forgive it pretty much anything.

I'm also pretty secure in myself and couldn't give a toss what others think of me as long as I'm having fun.
I have a fast bike for the daft stuff, the 4x4 for day to day stuff and long journeys then the little convertible for summer blasts.

Hang on a sec, you have a boxer in your profile. As a petrol head I understand that it's one of the best handling cars out there, but to the rest of the world you look like a successful hairdresser. Or a man deep into a midlife crisis.
Mine is just a bit of fun rather than a lifestyle choice.
