I know a laid back Indian Restaurant near Chichester......Not the last word in exotic fine dining but they do have a room at the back for so parties of silly people can be kept way from the more civilised customers.

Eastbourne a 130 mile & 3.5 hr round trip factoring an early evening arrival

Keen to get together albeit mindful my work hours aren't delightful.

I appreciate the tounge in cheek aspect - Annoyingly the biggest issue for me is having enough sleep between varied work hours rather than a bit more driving.
