faulty injector

Post by ayat » Mon Nov 15, 2010 9:38 pm

hi all, been getting some smoke on start up , goes away once after a few mims, independent confirmed it looks like one possibly 2 injectors , maybe due to an old crude superchip remap. they are quite costly new . and not that cheaper second hand. do u thing warranty direct will cover,or only if car wont drive. labour gonna cost 150 or so and in theory best to replace all of them byt at 200plys each i think just the faulty one will do, then get a reputable remap.

Ayat.... search Blo2was posts or pm him as he had to get new injectors a while back and iirc he found a place that exchanged old for new/refurbed for a decent price....maybe worth a look into especially at the price of new ones
