Re-mapping

Post by Bigrichw » Tue Nov 05, 2013 8:59 pm

Just been reading some posts about remap on 3.0d. Mines a facelift model so has the better 218bhp engine, but I think it may have had a remap. It's bloody nippy and on a run of about 70 miles I clocked on the OBC 41.2 mpg doing 70 to 80ish.  The guy I bought it from was unsure if it was mapped but he hadn't done it. Is there anyway of telling other than a rolling road?

Best person to ask is Jason, he's on here as jason@bwchiptune.  He'll know.. :)

Try sending him a PM.  He runs a remapping company........and can get scary things out of that engine.
