Hi all , can anyone give me name of somebody in N Ireland who can do engine & gearbox remap and any software updates, (eg aux heater activated ) thanks ...

It may be worth giving Jason a call at BW Chiptune see link below as he will either have a contact or garage there that he deals with and has done a lot of work on members cars

just an update on post , called in to my local bmw garage about software update and was told ... unless the X has a problem ... leave it alone , there computer can FIND faults which must be fixed and can be expensive , that was on wednesday 30th , today i went to tuners, Autotune,to see about remap , they hooked it up to laptop and ... the X has a map on it , they think it may have been done by BMW from new as the ecu is changed..
