Welcome aboard.

We don't have many X1 members on here so an added member of that chapter is very welcome..... :D

Welcome. We are looking to buy very similar soon, auto xdrive 20d sport. If you don't mind me asking, did you manage to negotiate any discount? We are looking at ordering in December and I wondered if dealers will compete with each other for the business. The likes of broadspeed appear to be offering around 15% but would rather stick to main dealers if possible.

Nothing wrong with Broadspeed I bought my 5 series through them. Main dealer supplied new uk spec car. Just be aware that the dealer may not be local - mine was 200 miles away! Nice drive back though.

I originally got a quote from Cooper Teesside who wouldn't commit to a part ex figure for the Tiguan this early but gave me 'worse case scenario' which was a bit low and I was not sure what the chances would be of getting any more in March. I am buying on a PCP which gives a 'dealer contribution' of about £3700 depending on which model you buy. I then went to Cooper Durham to see if they would match it. They offered an extra £500 p/x and an extra £600 discount (about 13.5% altogether). Didn't need much negotiation to be honest.
I looked at Broadspeed when I first started looking round and was considering a Q3 but they ask for a fee upfront before they will give you a firm quote and I'm not sure how good their p/x offer would be.

Thank you.  That's very helpful information.  Now we have a target to aim for. :-)

Just as a follow up, have just place the order for delivery just before end of 2013. Ended up getting the best deal ( nearly 17% off list) from my local stealer ship, Elms Cambridge. Happy with that.
