Sadly I didn't go for the 4.8is at a Cooper Durham, I couldn't get my head around the premium being asked by BMW!
I'm looking for a 2006 or possibly late 2005.
Highest spec possible - 3.0d would need to have at least Premium + Sport. Plus package, Climate package, Communication + Assist and more.
Condition more important than colour, but prefer black interior and no wood.
Full BMW service history and if it's still within the BMW warranty scheme that would be a big plus!
Sub 60k miles, but higher miles acceptable if everything else is right.
Really looking for something cherished and in tip top condition, with no damage, cosmetic issues or work to be done.
Proper money will be paid for the right car - prepared to travel.
Thanks.

Wanted - E53 4.8is or possibly top spec 3.0d
Re: Wanted - E53 4.8is or possibly top spec 3.0d
If you go on BMW drivers net - there's a black 05 BMW 4.8is under warranty...it's in Dublin.....I nearly bought that until I bought the one at Cooper Durham....picking it up next week.

I saw that one - wood:-( plus the fact that it's in Dublin raises a few logistical challenges!
I hope the silver one is as perfect as they described it to me - it needs to be! FYI they advised that they would fit two new rear Diamaris in the price they offered to me (£16k). I think I would have gone for it had it been Carbon Black. From the videos and pictures I saw it does seem to be a good one!

Re: Wanted - E53 4.8is or possibly top spec 3.0d
i paid £16250 inclusive of 12 months road tax and a new rear boot liner.
the rear tyres are obligatory - for an AUC car they have to do that if the tread is <3mm. - so yes that's been done too, and I've asked them to put the latest engine/gearbox software on.
it's for the wife and she's got her heart set on alpina rims now....
hopefully it will meet expectations. I've not seen one that low mileage and with warranty it should not be too expensive to renew in 12 months time.

The car in Dublin- I know he'll take offers on that price, there aren't too many things you need to do. I did speak to the dvla about it. The only tricky bit might be sorting insurance on it when driving it over initially it being on Irish number plates. The warranty hx on that car is incredible- practically all the common faults fixed. It's a 2 owner car imported from Scotland. 1st owner dentist.2nd owner business consultant. fBMWSH. Originally imported from Scotland. I had a mate at a main dealer check it out.
