my MCB F10 M5

Post by westside » Sun Oct 13, 2013 1:34 pm

picked this up about 5 weeks ago MCB 2012 M5 with 6500 miles on the clock

its got

CAS
softclose doors
Optional dynamic comfort seats
Extended Leather (nearly white)
Ali Trim
5 year service pack
heated rear seats
4 zone climate

They all come with some good options as standard
sunroof
HUD
Xenons
Ambi Lighting
Internet
Fold up mirrors
Power boot lid operation
Another thing is you wave your foot under the bumper and it opens up lol

I havent driven it much but the power is lovely its going to jason to get mapped there good for about 620 bhp the standard 554 is great but its always nice to have a bit more poke lol

So far I have done the following

H and R lowering springs
10mm hub centric spacers up front and 12mm rears
Colour coded the M5 side wing vents
Lamin X the lights
3D carbon front and rear lip diffuser
Turner motorsports axle back exhaust (the weave on the tips is box weave so mateches the rest of the carbon)
Black grills on the front and side
Smoothed front bumper (to get rid of the plate holder and the holes) plastic welded.

The HUD you can change to M mode which gets rid of a lot of stuff so all you see is a rev counter and your speed which is fun!

Crap pictures but you get the idea

Can't compare this to X6 4.0d as there 2 totally different cars.  I'll keep this till I get bored lol!

Very, very nice choice of car.  I wonder if this one will get to hang around your place any longer than the X6?  Just what is the record for the longest a car has managed to stay with you?

When I'm ready for a new car I'll drop some hints towards Westside as to what I'm looking at. Then hopefully by the time I'm ready to purchase, he will have it modded to with in an inch of its life and ready to sell.

All I can say is N13 EBM, and the thumbs up from me on your choice, and yes you always need to have a good poke  :))

I will watch with interest to see how this latest project of yours progresses, and if its going to be to the same standard as your X6 I think it will be stunning.
