Some Could say I have gone LED mad!

I now have LED Side/Brake, LED Reverse, LED rear Fogs, LED indicators and LED numberplate.

I have front and Side LED indicators too but haven't fitted yet them yet I will upload another picture in a couple of weeks once I fit the Depo UHP headlights.

You can get the scanner software off eBay.

Yeah I bought an Ibus to usb cable from eBay and then hard wired it into the CD changer ibus wire. Then bought "navcoder" software which allows you change any modules that are on the ibus circuit.

There maybe be an easier option though with different software.

Yeah I like the full LED lights too as I had them on my 330ci also. I looked everywhere to see if they made them for the E53 but all I could find was Side/Brake LED but the indicators were always bulbs. Not sure why this is but I suppose the closest thing to it would be putting LED indicator bulbs in.

There doesn't seem to be any aftermarket kits for the E53 that use all led's unfortunately.

Still they freshen up the rear nicely.

I have my occasional moments.....
>:D

Always pleased to help

You can download Navcoder from the net but I believe the check control mod needs a registered version.
Google it.

Navcoder also has circuit diagrams of simple interfaces that will work and cost pennies.
I have made one and can confirm it does work, but my lappy does have a serial port.
Some may not work with a USB to serial device but mine did!!

If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....
