Take the relatively short drive to Abu Dhabi and do Ferrari World coaster. Mental.

Do the usual burj khalifa tower (during day is popular but at night is just as good but you do need to book online early doors).

360 club out by the burj al Arab is a popular night club. Take the buggy down the Pier.

Gold souk is ok but not full of as many bargains as people would have you believe - I bought my gold from the duty free as it's by weight according to current price anyway.

Go karting was great fun but very very sweaty work even at 5pm. However I would recommend a visit. IIRC it's in sports city.

Other than that I am a golfer so would just spend my time playing.

Have hear Wild wadi water park is good too.

Im out in Abu Dhabi from Saturday......wont be doing anything as its work though  :(

The roller coaster is great at ferrari world but was a bit dissapointed by the rest of it....worked out at about £40 when i was there.

Burj Kalifa is a must.....there are also some good restaurants in the souk on the other side of the lake too......try to be around in the evening as the fountain shows are great.....definitely rival the fountains at the Bellagio.

Dubai Mall is vast but canbe good for a wonder round.

Theres the indoor ski slope at the Mall of the Emirates which is entertaining too.....great to watch the locals skiing down in Dishdash.

Wild Wadi water park is gonna be great if you have kids with you.

Just remember to respect the locals and no alcohol on the streets.

How long are you actually in Dubai for?

Still there now.  Done the tallest building fairly epic! Been to the gold souk and just got harassed by people.  Going to the water park. Been to all the vast malls the marina is pretty nice here and been on tours etc.  Really loving it here to at home so much I might have to move here.  Few x5s but there all 50i although I did see a 30d which was srange when the taxi driver said petrol is under £1 a gallon. Went to ferrari world and it was enptt so got on everyrhing with no q. Hired a chaufer driven lexus for the day for I think about £120 ish for the day!  I think taking duty off english petrol would cure the economy!!  Also staying on the jameira strip so the callibre of boy racer car is unreal lol
