Hi all, I am a new member on this site and I have just changed my X5 from the old e53 to a newer e70(don't know if its been a good move though), rear inner lights not working, water leak in passengers foot well when it was car washed, park brake fault light keeps coming on and I have just noticed run flats on the front and non run flats on the rear, so I could be looking for lots of advice etc. ;)

Hello and  :hi:

Sorry you have a couple of 'issues' with you new acquisition, and hopefully they're easy to fix.

The water leak could be the inner door weather membrane behind the door card, or blocked roof drains if you have the sunroof.

A fair number of folks have switched from RFT to non-RFT as they believe the ride is improved, particularly on 20" rims.

Welcome.

I assume it was not bought from a dealer than as they would not be allowed to sell AUC with the "wrong" tyres on the car.

Hi Dave and  :hi:

As mentioned above, hopefully not any big issues and you will soon get them sorted and get on enjoying the ride.

Welcome but sorry to hear you already have a couple of issues.

Water leak could be the heater matrix depending it's location.
