New X5 arrived at dealers

Had to put this here because the mods have failed to create a new section for the new model despite being requested by other members :P

[Mod edit PVR ] - Moved to the appropriate section

Anyway, dealer just phoned me

They have their new x5 in and I'm going to see it on Friday

My unbiased view will follow.... ;)

As always!  You are the most unbiased person I know.......... :P

Looking forward to the review regardless of whether you are going to be biased or not.  Will you take photos or wait until the test drive and a quite location?

I'm not quite sure what will be allowed because launch date isn't until November so it may be hush hush like it was when he showed me the 5gt.

We get to see it in Canada on Wednesday, but it would be churlish to spoil 535dboy's fun...
Can't afford a new one anyway, but I'm happy to go and partake of my local dealer's hospitality and have a browse.

It's supposedly a softer drive than the E70. I am not expecting a glowing review from the X5's smallest fan :P

If it's a 'softer ride' then Mrs X5Sport will suffer from  :puke: :hypo: as she suffers in cars with any kind of wallowing ride.
