Inspection 2

Stuck my baby in for its inspection 2 today!!

Used a local bmw specialist, i have used him in the past with my old 328

£330 inc vat, that was him supplying all parts, very happy with that seeing it takes 8.5ltr of castrol edge

Not one problem picked up during the inspection!! superb!

i got speaking to the guy about the car after he had finished and he said i had a really good condtion X5, one of the best ones he had seen in for a long time!!

was really happy when he said that, made me think all my hard work and traveling to find the right one was worth it

I sourced mine at 4 yrs & tbh it looked like it had lived in an automated car wash beforehand.Paintwork since sorted but it would probably appreciate another machine polish to spruce up at some point.

That's a good price. I paid £400 for the same service six months ago at a specialist indy I use in Shrewsbury and was delighted (2004 4.8is at 46k).Cheapest dealer I could find was over £600 and , frankly, I have more confidence in the indy to do the work properly.

It's in the Mother-in-law's garage staying out of the cold but I will be getting it out in a couple of weeks so will post one then!

cheers guys i'm happy its all worked out so far!! glad i made the change to the X

i tried the local bmw stealer for prices and they were quoting £520+ so it made sense for me to go to the indy, atleast i have used him in the past.

so hopefully trouble free motoring for a good while yet ;o)

AW8 - could do with a good dry weekend to polish mine too, but as its started snowing today it may be some time lol...

on a plus note though should manage to see what she's like in the snow soon!!
