Mud Flaps - E70

Post by Neptune » Fri Sep 20, 2013 5:24 pm

Hi All
Has anyone fitted genuine BMW mud flaps front and rear to their E70?
Is the fit good and are they straight forward to install?

Thanks

We have fitted a few genuine BMW sets in our workshop and yes they fit well and takes around 1 hour to fit the full set.

We also have a set on our E70 M-Sport which stop the sides of the car getting so filthy!

Thanks Chris
I'll get a set on order, just wanted to know that they fit well as they're not cheap.

I fitted front and back within 3 months as all the dirt wend up the doors.

I got them from Cotswold BMW as they were more than £100 cheaper than my local dealer.

You need to remove the wheels but as Chis ABP says it takes about 1 hour.

Well worth the cost and time.

I've just had a genuine BMW set removed from my car which has done 4.5k miles so there hardly used.  Looks wise they are just not for me although I'm sure they do a sterling job.  I'd be happy to sell them for a fraction of the cost for new ones...

They came off a November 2011 M Sport vehicle with 20in wheels, so I'm guessing so!

They are genuine, need a bit of a clean.  PM me and we'll sort out the rest.

if you're not willing to pay dealer prices I'm more than happy with these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-4pcs-Front-Rear-Mud-Flaps-Splash-Guard-Special-Fit-For-BMW-X5-E70-2007-2012-/190863047092?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c7052f9b4 £40 with free postage and they arrived in less than a week
3 GS's and an X5 ;)
