Re: x5 suspension inactive
The height sensors are located on each lower H arm so if damaged or disconnected when doing the bushes this could be the cause. The control unit is located behind the glove box and highly unlikely the issue if its only happened after the bushes have been changed.
Get a scanner on to it to read the codes.
Where you located?

I've just bought one of these kits from eBay. Having it fitted next Tuesday.
Got a 2003 3.0i and keep getting the suspension warning. Car looks level and I suspect it may be the battery voltage that is low. Either way, I'd rather replace the air suspension before it lets me down. Doing the battery and rear pads / discs at the same time. I'll let you know how it goes.

I'm really pleased with the conversion kit. Can't say that I notice any difference over when the air bags were in there, possibly a little bit more 'bounce' over rough ground. Certainly nothing that would concern me and I have the reassurance that the bags aren't going to fail on me. I tow a small boat most weekends, and haven't noticed any difference or change in level when she's hitched up.
