Check parking lights message, advice on replacement angel eye bulb needed

Post by cooa99 » Tue Sep 17, 2013 3:46 pm

Hi Guys,

I am getting the message above on the dash (55 plate E53) .....  It appears that the lights on drivers side rings are out.

I currently have a replacement  bulb from BMW about 2 yrs ago (....when it went off and then back on again for no reason...).

So Now I am thinking maybe I should  change to bulbs that will turn the existing yellowish rings to a brighter colour.

please can you recommend what (and where) to get whiter bulbs provided I am not blinding other motorists :).?

The replacement AE bulbs can be had from the likes of hids4u, etc for around £30. They are very simple to replace and no worrying about brightness as they will never be very bright as no-one has found a bulb yet of matching the newer model halos.

They'll certainly work, but can't say how bright or good they will be but very similar to M-Tec ones of old.
