Are comfort seats better than sport seats? Ive never sat in comfort seats but ive never had a problem with the sport seats in any BM ive had...

Personal preference I suppose. The comfort seats are a more expensive option and are more electically adjustable, but have smaller side bolsters so don't "hold" you in place.

Comfort Seats are superb. I had them in the E53 and have them in the X6. If you're not a fan of Sport Seats or need the greater adjustment range or better adjustments as they include the shoulder, then they're worth it. The latest gen ones are even better. There are less pronounced side bolsters than Sport seats, but unless you're hooning it then you don't need them.

I loved my comfort seats in the 530d and the side bolsters on the E60 were electrically adjustable so held me in nicely. Are the E53 comfort seats the same? I'd love comfort seats in mine tbh.

They went quick! Not suprised - £150 buy it now was a VERY good price. Was tempted to get them and just store them at home until i could afford the retrim!

They are similar though on the E70/71 onwards. Mine has air filled side bolsters which always give passengers a 'hug' when you first start the car as they have memory settings on both seats and so adjust according to the key settings stored.

Do miss the E60 ones (and of course the ///M active ones are wicked).
Was a lovely feature on start up/shut down having them hold/release you.
