Well done on getting this up and running

Post by gobiman » Fri Nov 19, 2010 5:25 pm

When the old site disappeared I was very disappointed and have finally found this.
Well done to those of you who put the effort into keeping it going - quite the most useful source of information on E53. I see a number of the familiar moderators going strong.
I look forward to a weekly read and comment and will contribute where I can be helpful.

Welcome gobiman,

Thanks for the positive comments.

Pvr & myself publicised our new site on bmwland & xoutpost, however, we were keen to avoid upsetting other boards by aggressively diverting site traffic.

Here the site is offficially looked after by 3 admins consisting of myself & pvr, (mods on old site), & sp3ctre who is our backbone & forum admin expert.

As admin's we double up in moderator roles albeit due to sensible folk the site is virtually self moderating. Members seem to adopt an appropriate tone & occasionally politely point new folk in the right direction if needed. Members can still report significant issues to us in the event our intervention is required.

Hope you enjoy your stay :)
