Just had to pop down to the John Lewis store in Purley. That traffic .... that driving .... within minutes I was changed from a calm composed person to a simmering wreck ready to thump someone.

I just could not handle that on a daily basis, she must be an angel to deal with that   Respect

Hee here, you get used to it.  I spent 5 years driving in all parts of London at all times of day.  You just learn to drive more 'determinedly' than Courier Bikes and Minicab/Taxi Drivers. 

Mrs X5Sport hates driving in London as it sounds you do too.  Purely is about as far in as she'll drive.  Me?  Straight across the middle as long as I can avoid the 'C' Zone.
